Privacy policy
How Juvena Therapeutics, Inc. handles information collected through juvenatherapeutics.com.
The short version
Juvena Therapeutics does not set cookies on juvenatherapeutics.com, does not run analytics or advertising trackers, and does not build profiles of visitors. No third-party service is contacted when a page is opened. The only personal information Juvena receives is what a visitor chooses to send by email.
Information collected automatically
Like any website, juvenatherapeutics.com is delivered by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs. Those logs record the internet protocol (IP) address of the requesting device, the date and time, the address requested, the referring address where one is sent, and the browser and operating system reported by the device. They are used to deliver the website, to keep it secure and available, and to diagnose faults. They are not used to identify individual visitors or combined with other information for that purpose.
Cookies and storage on your device
No cookies are set. One item is stored in your browser's session storage, named “juv:scroll”, which records how far down a page you had scrolled so the position can be restored if you navigate back to it. It contains no identifier, it is readable only by juvenatherapeutics.com, and your browser discards it when the tab is closed. Because nothing is stored for tracking or advertising, no cookie banner is presented.
Analytics
None. No analytics service, tag manager, advertising pixel, session recorder or social-media tracker is installed on juvenatherapeutics.com.
Content from other companies
The contact page can display a Google map of Juvena's offices. It is not loaded automatically: it appears only after you select “Load map”, because loading it discloses your IP address and device information to Google, under Google's privacy policy rather than this one. Links to other websites (news coverage, ClinicalTrials.gov, LinkedIn, the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation and others) are ordinary links; Juvena has no control over, and takes no responsibility for, how those sites handle information.
Information you send
The only form is the request form for the corporate overview, a Google Form in Juvena's Google Workspace that opens in a new tab: it asks for your name, email address and organization, which Juvena keeps to follow up with you about the overview, and Google processes the submission under its own privacy policy. Every other contact route is an email link. When you write to Juvena, whether with a general, partnering, investor, media or study inquiry or an application to apply@juvenatherapeutics.com, Juvena receives your email address, your message, and anything you attach, held in Juvena's business email systems and shared internally only with the people who need to act on it. Information sent in support of a job application is handled as part of Juvena's recruitment process.
Health information
Juvena is not able to give medical advice and asks that you do not send personal health information by email. Questions about taking part in a clinical study are best directed to the study team through the study's listing on ClinicalTrials.gov or to your own physician. Information collected in a clinical study is governed by the study's own consent documents and privacy notices, not by this policy.
Children
Juvenatherapeutics.com is intended for a general and professional audience and is not directed to children under 13, and Juvena does not knowingly collect personal information from them. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information may write to the address below and it will be deleted.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information Juvena holds about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to certain uses. Juvena does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, or to ask a question about this policy, write to info@juvenatherapeutics.com; Juvena may need to ask for enough information to confirm who you are before acting on a request.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. Material changes will be described at the top of the page.
