Juvena is inviting applications for computational biologists who are excited to work as a core member of a team focused on the discovery and validation of novel candidate proteins for increased stem cell activity using high throughput in vitro screening assays and in vivo healthspan assays. Latest approaches in bioinformatics and machine learning will be applied to optimize high-throughput screening assays, analysis of healthspan assays and post mortem tissue for calculation of regenerative indexes. Predictive modeling will be applied to enhance efficiency of candidate factor screening for increased stem cell activity.
A BS/MS or Ph.D. degree in computer science, computational biology, bioinformatics or an equivalent field as well as published or demonstrable experience in R, Python, or Matlab is required. Experience with OMICS data analysis and machine learning algorithms a plus.
